Samsung may have been making all the moolah with the gamut of Galaxy devices over the past 5 to 6 years but even then, the company has been criticized for going into its shell when it comes to the designing of its products. Ever since, the company introduced Galaxy S3 smartphone, we have somewhat seen same replica being rolled out with the exception of being bigger in size and powerful with top-class hardware. But one thing that had become synonymous with Samsung is the word plastic.

Be it, Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 or even this year's Galaxy S5 all have been given the same treatment but with Galaxy Alpha the company has tried its hand with something even though with a lot of inspiration (if we can call it that) from Apple's iPhone. So, the timing is right as far as comparing the iPhone 5S and Galaxy Alpha are concerned, but things can change and go another level with the highly anticipated iPhone 6 expected this fall.
